About Harold F. Clayton

I have over 36 years experience devoted to carving, creating sculpture and architectural elements from marble and limestone for Corporate, Public and Private collections.

Art has always been my life. I initially studied painting,

I went to the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston for a summer and then on to the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas where in 1977 received a BFA in drawing and painting, Cum Laude.

While visiting museums in Europe studying the sculpture and painting I decided to quit stretching canvas & then went to Pietrasanta Italy to study old world carving techniques and restoration under Sem Gelardini at his stone carving studio "STUDIO SEM SCULTORI ASSOCIATI SRL" from 1982 to 1987.

The Studio/Shop is in Dallas, Texas close to Downtown &

Fair Park. The roads around here change names....
